The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Murgers 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet of black cherries, crushed violets and touches of incense. The palate is silky-smooth with supple tannins and well-judged acidity, delivering blackberry and boysenberry fruit toward the finish that becomes increasingly earthy in the glass. Give this three to five years in bottle.
