(100% new oak; from 90-year-old vines that produced just 22 hectoliters per hectare in 2010, according to Tremblay): Bright deep ruby-red. Ripe aromas of musky black fruits, minerals, chocolate, game and sweet oak. Sweet, sappy and deep if a bit youthfully reduced (this finished its malo very late), with concentrated cherry and berry flavors carrying through to the very long, supple finish. In earlier vintages, Tremblay picked this parcel later.
