    Fine, high-toned and racy with gripping but velvety tannins. Focused, fresh forest berry and hedgerow fruit, notes of crunchy plum, raspberry and loganberry. A fresh, intense, fine-tuned style of Vosne-Romanée. A parcel of 50-year-old vines, ideally situated next to Grands Echézeaux and opposite Musigny.

    The 2020 Vosne-Romanée En Orveaux 1er Cru has a vivacious bouquet, red cherries mixed with raspberry preserve and crushed stone aromas, later, wilted rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, fine acidity, quite structured and "correct" on the Morey-like finish. Not a flamboyant Vosne-Romanée, but well-crafted.
