Mineral, sleek, refined and focussed. A wine for lovers of minerality, with taut stony citrus fruits, lots of rocky drive and focus. For all that there’s a layering here and while it takes a little time to coax out of its shell, indeed you can feel the stones of Perrières throughout, the wine gives more and more the longer it sits in the glass. From two parcels within Perrières Dessus, just above their Bourgogne Terroir d'Exception, planted with 55-year-old and 45-year-old vines. Aged in 30% new oak.
