Meursault, Limozin, 2022

An east facing clay-limestone vineyard just below Genevrières that invariably produces wines with a certain body and flesh to them. In 2022 it has produced a total crowd pleaser, with stone fruit richness alongside notes of nut and butter and ripe citrus. Open, yet not without some inner tension, density and drive. This is going to be a joy to drink on release and should peak after five years or so. Aged in 20% new oak.
