Denis Mortet
Fixin, 2017
justerini & brooks tasting note
Complex and dense flavours, a slightly squarer shape than the estate’s Marsannay, such density and so many layers but without losing that “Mortet” touch of class. Slick flavours of bramble, earth and sloe with a mineral finish. Super. From vines averaging 60 years-old that produce tiny “millerande” berries. Whole bunch fermented and aged in 30% new oak barrels.
