    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Damson mulberry and dark fruits, sultry and suave but also very precise. The grip of tannin is pure silk and there is a sweet spice element adding complexity. Back-lit sweetness. A very smart villages. This is the second time Arnaud has blended his village parcels since 2005 and it looks like the great results have persuaded him to make this an ongoing blend .

Healthy medium red. Musky aromas of black cherry, smoke, mocha and sweet oak. A tightly coiled wine of moderate flesh, this village bottling offers nicely delineated flavors of dark berries, licorice, bitter chocolate and earth complicated by a saline minerality that no doubt comes from the higher-altitude parcels that go into the blend. This very successful village wine should maintain its energy.
