A pale and fragrant Pinot from a north, north-east facing vineyard that always tends to the fresher end of the spectrum. Vinified exclusively in barrels older than four wines, to impart no noticeable wood flavours, this is a juicy, fruit and cherry stone driven Pinot Noir with a delicate structure and an unadorned, easy-going character.

The 2023 Rully Clos de Bellecroix, which is raised half in vat and half in barrel, offers brambly red berry fruit on the nose, a little earthy in style, maybe a little rustic but with plenty of charm. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft texture on the entry, mainly black fruit laced with allspice, harmonious with a soft landing on the finish. Enjoy this over the next four or five years.
