Aromatic herbs and lemon tart notes over white fleshed fruit with touches of citrus pulp and pomelo in this charming, accessible, juicy Aigrots. A vineyard that can produce wines at the fleshier end of the spectrum and, as such, always one of the first sites to be picked.

The 2022 Beaune Blanc Les Aigrots 1er Cru, matured in 10% new oak, has an attractive bouquet with lemon thyme, orange zest and touches of dried flowers. The palate is well-balanced, with peach and light apricot notes on the entry. With fine acidity and commendable purity, this is going to be a seductive, easy-drinking, very well-crafted white Beaune.
