Domaine de Montille
Bourgogne, Rouge, 2023
justerini & brooks tasting note
Offering up a fine succulent sweetness on the palate with fine grip and a herbal crunch to the crisp red fruit. A brisk Bourgogne of some interest. From two plots, the oldest of 80-100 year old vines, fermented with around 50% whole bunches.

The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge, which has just a little less than 25% stems, presents a pleasant raspberry- and strawberry-scented nose—simple but effective. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid red fruit, fine tannins and a brisk, slightly tapered finish. Fine.
