Domaine de Montille
Meursault, Saint-Christophe, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
A touch more golden fruited than Clous Dessous, with fine oak integration. Another wine full of energy and brisk acids, but here a touch more flesh over the architecture. A harmonious combination of Meursault breadth and stones, with golden fruit. A blend of Casse Têtes and Petit Charrons, this is an excellent St. Christophe that is now produced entirely from Domaine fruit.

The 2024 Meursault St. Christophe comes from Les Castets and Petit Charrons vineyards. It has a taut and fresh, quite minerally bouquet with a touch of rural village pond. The palate is well balanced, a little reductive in style but I like the texture here and the twist of bitter lemon on the finish. Give it a year in bottle.
