The 2022 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru has a complex bouquet with hints of white peach, Granny Smiths and subtle flinty notes. This is very focused, a light crème fraiche note emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a keen thread of acidity, orange pith and fresh pear, building wonderful to a seductive finish that has real umami sensation. Excellent.

The 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is impressively racy and chiseled for a sunny site in a warm vintage. Mingling scents of Meyer lemon with hints of oyster shell, freshly baked bread and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, concluding with a pungently saline finish.
