The 2009 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées is round, sweet and extremely harmonious. Nothing in particular stands out, rather it is the wine's impeccable grace and class that conquers the palate. The round, explosive finish makes it impossible to resist a second taste. This due-south facing vineyard yielded an especially generous wine in 2009 that looks to be one of the more accessible selections in this lineup. Tasted from tank.
