The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d'Orveau "Cuvée Ultra" has a more expressive and extroverted bouquet compared to its counterpart in Nuits Saint-Georges, featuring kirsch, orange peel and hints of brown spice. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a caressing texture and a touch of spice and white pepper toward the persistent finish. A lovely wine, although the Nuit Saint-Georges Cuvée Ultra has more derring-do.
