The 2022 Griottes-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru comes from purchased fruit, although Perrot-Minot decides and undertakes the harvest. It has a harmonious bouquet of raspberry coulis, mulberry, dried white flowers and a light cinnamon note. The palate has a candied, pastille-like entry with red cherries and orange peel-tinged raspberry fruit. It has modest depth and is quite tight towards the finish; it needs a touch more depth on the finish.
