The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet La Truffière 1er Cru, again, showed a little reduction, but underneath I find good complexity and more mineralité than Sauzet’s other cuvées, perhaps more penetration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity, hints of marzipan and white chocolate decorating the finish that lingers in the mouth. What a gorgeous Puligny this is going to be.
