critic reviews
The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Combottes 1er Cru has a very pure, floral bouquet of mainly dark berry fruit tinctured with subtle hints of pressed iris and incense. Undergrowth scents emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a crunchy blackberry and raspberry opening, very natural and refined. Not a powerful Les Combottes, but focused on the finish. I would just like a bit more oomph once in bottle.
