Gerald et Philibert Talmard

Domaine Gerald Talmard is a family Domaine in the small town of Uchizy in the Maconnais. The style of wine produced here is pure and refreshing, achieved by picking grapes when ripe but still early enough to have good acidity levels. The wine is fermented and aged sur lie in stainless steel only, to give a lively, unfussy, very gently textured style of Macon centred on characteristics of apple, citrus and butter. A classic, easy-pleasing style that is happyily drunk on its own or with food.
