A step up in intensity from the rest of the range. A very complete, multi-faceted wine, this has Côte d’Or levels of depth and breadth. Textured, buttery, golden fruit, hints of Mirabelle and honeysuckle with a firming citrus freshness; touches of hazelnut add complexity to the elongated finish. Sumptuous and satisfying. A fabulous single-vineyard plot in Vergisson, this is north/north-east facing, giving a wine of tension and minerality.
