Vosne-Romanée, 2016

Very fine, shapely Vosne with a bit of substance to add to the silk. Svelte and focused with a measured intensity. Notes of griotte, morello and raspberry with a hint of creme de mûre. Wonderfully balanced, a serious villages. A blend of two parcels, les Barreaux and les Communes with vines up to 50 years-old. Ageing is in a maximum of 50% new oak barriques.
