A flintiness on the nose, with a greater sense of depth and richness on the palate (than Les Chenes), crisp citrus fruit mingling with rocky, smoky notes, flecks of butter and ripe lemon below that gunflint note. Hugely attractive and impressive, yet also very much Chassagne at heart. New to the PVG stable in 2023, having taken a lease on a number of sites from Chateaux de Maltroie (along with Pierre Yves Collin Morey). An early ripening site that was picked first in 2023.
