Rocks and stones and an irony note dominate here, and while there’s a good deal more structure than the Monthelie, there’s also a lovely mouthwatering salty kick to it – an engaging, structured and brisk Auxey Duresses that needs a couple of years to open up, but impresses already for its chiselled minerality.
