Corton Charlemagne, Grand Cru, 2005

Despite being bottled at the end of September 2006 this is showing splendidly well, full of rich, buttery and fleshy flavours, creamy fruit with a defining taut, mineral aspect to it. Fermented and aged in 40% new wood.
