Chablis, Blanchot, Grand Cru, 2018

This beautifully complete Blanchot shows the vineyard’s signature elegance and finesse even in warmer year like 2018, with pure aromas of acacia blossom, white peach and citrus zest layered over a fine chalky mineral core. The palate is smooth and seamless, offering a nice interpaly of ripe orchard fruit, mirabelles and crushed rock. The finish is long and tapering finish. Less muscular than Valmur, but no less complex, this is a Grand Cru of quiet intensity and charm.
