A fine blend of silky Vosne texture and Nuits grit, racy brilliant red fruit with notes of sweet spice. Satin-like with a twist of Nuits structure and grunt. This has it all. A 57-year-old parcel of Nuits vines situated on the Vosne side of the appellation.

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Thorey 1er Cru has an elegant nose with transparent red berry fruit, forest floor and orange blossom scents; violets emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, quite spicy red berry fruit and touches of brown spice towards the grippy finish. This will need a couple more years in bottle but is very promising.
