Bourgogne, Côte d'Or, Rouge, 2022

A lovely expressive, fully fruit driven Bourgogne, with succulent dark cherry notes that offer genuine richness for a humble Bourgogne. Plump, polished and generous with black plum and warm spice on the finish. Invariably one of the last plots the Tollot-Beaut team harvests. A large 2ha chunk of these vineyards used to be Chorey-les-Beaune before the appellation lines were redrawn. The vines are old and the yields low, resulting in excellent value Bourgogne.
