Bourgogne, Côte d'Or, Rouge, 2023

One of the last wines to be harvested and as such, a Bourgogne with broad shoulders and plenty of presence. Hearty, ripe, dark fruit with plenty of warming spice and broad tannins. A large 2ha chunk of these vineyards used to be Chorey-les-Beaune before the appellation lines were redrawn. The vines are old and the yields low, resulting in excellent value Bourgogne.
