Aromatic, fruit-driven with plenty of texture and a long, pulsing finish. Dense with extract and grip. Some patience will be required here. An east-facing plot right at the top of the hill, from vines planted in 1965 on very poor soils. Invariably a Corton Charlemagne of energy and racy precision. Aged in 60% new oak.
