Petit Chablis, 2023
Clear crisp and expressive – bristling with snappy fruit, a touch of almond and some salty citrus notes on the finish. The parcels for Vincent’s Petit Chablis sit on the plateau above Le Clos. A cut above your average Petit Chablis.
critic reviews
The 2023 Petit Chablis has an attractive nose, although there is a little reduction to contend with at the moment. The palate is well balanced with commendable weight and a keen line of acidity. It's quite tensile but easygoing toward the finish. Decant this if you plan to drink it early.
Vincent Dauvissats 2023 Petit Chablis, from parcels based on Portlandian limestone, is showing very well, unfurling from the glass with aromas of pear, tangerine zest and dried white flowers. Ample and with considerable mid-palate amplitude, its laden with tangy acids and concludes with a long finish, overperforming the reputation of its comparatively humble appellation.
