Champagne Boizel

Founded in Epernay in 1834, the Boizel Champagne house is now managed by Evelyne Boizel, the fifth generation of the family. Though perhaps more familiar to Champagne enthusiasts in France, their non-vintage cuvée is a lesser-known treasure. The house style is frequently characterized as delicate, light, and well-balanced. Their rosé, full of fruity notes, is also noteworthy, with its unique touch being the inclusion of red wine made from exceptionally ripe pinot noir in the final blend.

One of Boizel's standout offerings is the Cuvée Joyau, Extra Brut. This exceptional champagne showcases the house's commitment to craftsmanship and quality. With a lower dosage, the Extra Brut style allows the purity and complexity of the blend to shine through. The Cuvée Joyau is often celebrated for its depth, with rich flavors of brioche, citrus, and subtle minerality, making it a favorite among connoisseurs.
