Millesime 2016, Extra Brut, 2016

The Millésime is always released eight years after the vintage. In 2016, the blend is composed of Meunier from one plot and Pinot Noir from two. Vinified in a combination of oak and stainless steel then aged in oak with long lees contact, the resultant wine is rich and yet also refined and expressive, demonstrating the best qualities of the Blanc de Noirs style. To be savoured slowly from a larger wineglass (and not overly chilled), this Champagne has the density, opulence and complexity to match a variety of foods.
