Salon

Salon is one of the most intriguing and mysterious names in Champagne. Its singularity is reflected in its production philosophy: only one cuvée, produced exclusively in exceptional vintages. Over the course of the entire 20th century, there were a mere 37 releases.

Created in 1911 with first vintage 1905, Champagne Salon wines are cellared in the bottle for an average of 10 years, gaining in complexity and finesse. Headed by Aimé Salon until his death in 1943, the house was then left to his nephew. In 1988, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, became the majority shareholder. Today, the house of Salon, are directed by Didier Depond.

Crafted solely from Chardonnay, Salon is sourced from the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. This is a Champagne of rarity and luxury, with each new release eagerly awaited. Production is limited, with an average of only 60,000 bottles per vintage, making Salon a highly coveted gem for discerning collectors and Champagne lovers alike.
