justerini & brooks tasting note

A cuvee originally called "Buisson Menard" that was once incorrectly described by a wine jounrnalist as "Buisson Renard," Didier Dagueneau found this amusing and the name stuck. Fermented and aged in oak barrel but like all of these wines, the oak character is not noticeable in terms of flavour. A ripe and very powerful wine, notes of exotic fruit, spices, earth and salty minerals, unctuous with hints of ripe guava, a very serious Blanc fume de Pouilly that is not for the faint-hearted.
