Produced from 35-year-old vines, this is a very delicate style, almost gossamer-like in its finesse. There's a touch of flesh on the mid-palate from 10 months on lees following fermentation in demi-muids. The 2019 Sancerre Flores is a quiet wine offering lime, apple and a hint of pear; a little more length would be welcome.
