André Perret
St Joseph, Blanc, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
A cooler year than 2023 that feels super balanced and clear, this 50/50 Marsanne Roussanne blend was bottled at just 12.5% and shows an array of neat, crisp citrus and green fruits with a juicy acidity and limey, salty finish. It drinks beautifully from the get-go. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 10 months in 300L barrel.

Blending Marsanne and Roussanne grapes in equal proportions, the 2024 Saint-Joseph Blanc awakens on the nose with expressive herbal tea, pear skin, yellow apple and breaths of honeysuckle. Medium-bodied and refreshing, the 2024 recedes with subtle wet stone on the sapid mid-length close.
