Rudolf Fürst
Pinot Noir, Klingenberg, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
A more overt whole-cluster character in 2024, with smoke and dried herbs sitting alongside tight red fruits. The tannins are a little more assertive at this early stage, giving the wine a firm, savoury profile. A top-drawer village cuvée produced mostly from “young” vines in the Grosse Lage Schlossberg, averaging around 25 years of age. Fermented with 45–50% whole clusters and raised in 20% new French oak.
