Fritz Haag
Riesling, Feinherb, Screwcap, 2022
justerini & brooks tasting note
One of our bestsellers, Haag’s Estate off-dry (Feinherb) Riesling is ever-dependable. Lip-smacking and lively, it never disappoints. Such a good Mosel estate Riesling; one that displays more than a little of the Haag top wines’ character: fruity, delicate, animated and very easy to drink.

The 2022 Riesling feinherb is the counterpart to the trocken Riesling from the same sites, just made in an off-dry style which here means 17g/L of residual sweetness. The absolutely appetizing nose shows plenty of peach and lemon. The palate is very strait-laced, zesty and vivid. The sugar disappears into the slatey saltiness and finishes dry. Immense but restrained charm. (Dry)
