Maximin Grünhauser, Pinot Noir, Abtsberg, Grosses Gewächs, 2024

A more mineral and structured Pinot Noir, offering dark bramble fruit, loganberries and sour cherries. Savoury and finely textured, with ripe tannins, hints of alpine mint, cacao nib and crushed slate. The 2024 is cool and energetic, whilst retaining good weight. Fully destemmed and aged in second-use French barriques for 20 months.
