Graacher, Riesling, Feinherb, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
The village Feinherb offers extra fragrancy versus the more vertical Trocken, layered with slate spice, light red fruits and tangerine, finishing crisp and lemony. Aged in wooden fuders on the fine lees to balance the acidity. A dry-tasting Feinherb of impeccable balance.

The 2024 Riesling Graacher feinherb, picked exclusively in the Himmelreich, is fragrant with fresh apple framed with apple blossom on the nose. The palate is exquisitely fine, supremely tender. The feinherb definition hits the bullseye here. It is so tender, with a subtly creamy and bright texture. This is a gorgeous rendition of a Mosel Riesling, with 18 g/L of residual sugar. The 2024 is an emblematic wine in a way. (Off-dry)
