Incredibly this was harvested at close to 150 Oeschle, and though the final wine has just ten grams more residual sugar than the Fuder 4, there's so much more extract, density and material. Intense dried fruit notes, apricot and dried pineapple, highly complex, with touches of spice, honey, and an intense botrytis character. Long, multifaceted and luscious. A very serious Langhe Goldkapsel, that comes from a very particular parcel of old vines in the Rausch vineyard.
