The 2025 Riesling Saarburger Rausch Kabinett is made from slightly more concentrated fruit than the village Kabinett picked in the same slope. Tangerine and slate define the nose. The palate stays with that zesty-stony savor that makes the mouth water, almost like lichen-covered stone, but slowly reveals a sweeter core of beautiful mandarin suppleness. The finish reverts to tenderness and has just a little grapefruit spice. Yet another picture of weightless Riesling from this magical slope. This has 58.8 grams per liter of residual sugar against 8 grams per liter of acidity. (Medium)
