Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle, Riesling, Auslese, Goldkapsel, 2023

The Hermannshohle feels more luscious next to the more austere Brücke, a wine of inner harmony and complexity, suffused with crushed rocks and salts with fruit flavours of fresh mango and pineapple. Fully sweet but drinkable and effortless in a leaner, purer mould this year. Like the Brücke, this GK was bottled at 92g residual sugar with 15% botrytis influence.
