The 2025 Riesling Mineral trocken is from a conglomerate of Devonian slate and quartzite soils, along with alluvial pebbles in the upper reaches, chiefly from the Monzinger Niederberg. The nose has a supple character, almost with a creamy narcissus aspect. The palate, however, is stony. This is absolutely crystalline, taut, straight and so citric, linear and elongated, yet supple. A wonderfully clear-cut, balanced wine. (Dry)
