From a 2.5ha monopole around the estate, recently promoted to GG level, the soils of which are limestone dominated, with loess clay and loam. Habitually one of the most exotically fragranced wines in the Spretizer lineup, this year’s Rosengarten is textural, languid and vinous, showing notes of cardamom and Turkish delight, complex spice and fine Rheingau minerality.
