A cooler and more restrained expression than Kreuz, elegant and polished with a fine sense of composure. Produced entirely from massale selections, the palate finishes with sweet, finely textured tannins and a touch of oak. Kirchenstuck is in the village of Hohen-Sülzen where the soils have a high proportion of limestone and loess. The classified Grosse Lage (Grand Cru) section is only a small portion of the vineyard, which means this GG comes from the very best bit.
