Grillo, a.k.a. Rossese Bianco and Riddu, is a white Italian grape variety which is able to withstand high temperatures and is widely used in Sicilian wines and also notably used for making Marsala. Its origins are unknown, some believe it may have been introduced into the island of Sicily from Apulia.
