    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note
Renato Corino, Barolo, Vigneto Rocche, 2004

From two parcels within Rocche aged 30 and 50 years old. Subtle, sophisticated aromas, this bursts with liquorice spice, undergrowth and mineral flavours overlayed by intense, vivid red cherry, cherry stone, blueberry and sweetly-perfumed bramble characteristics.

Medium red, a bit less deep than the Arborina. Cooler aromas of currant, rose petal, brown spices and minerals. A serious, minerally wine with lovely floral perfume and lift; a spicy element contributes to the impression of sharp definition. Best today on the back end, which features broad, dusty, silky tannins and aromatically persistent notes of red berries and sandalwood.
