Barolo, del Comune di La Morra, 2021
justerini & brooks tasting note
Red fruit forward with a heady, rosehip and strawberry-laced feel, this Barolo “Comune” is polished and succulent, finishing on subtle toast and spice. Co-fermented in stainless steel and aged in one cask of 35hl, two of 25hl and a combined 5hl in barrique. A blend of plots from La Serra, Fossati, Case Nere and Cerequio. Production at this level is 800g per vine.
