Barolo, Brunate, 1997

Very good saturated deep red. Superripe aromas of roasted plum, tobacco, burnt rubber, clove and marzipan. Large-scaled, rich and seamless; a sweet, fat wine with intriguing mineral and brown spice flavors. Finishes very long and sweet, with the extravagant roasted fruit of the best '97s.
