The organic Monteraponi 2022 Chianti Classico is a real straight-shooter, delivering lots of bright primary fruit and good intensity. The bouquet reflects the slightly cooler Radda subzone with tart berry flavors and pronounced floral aromas, especially blue bells and violets. The wine feels fresh and easy on the palate.

The 2022 Chianti Classico is a powerful, rich wine that offers a striking reflection of the intensity of the year, slightly tempered by the elevation of Radda. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, cinnamon and orange peel are all nicely lifted. There's gorgeous brilliance and energy here. The 2022 spent 16 months in cask.
